Jiggy! Jiggy! A Cast Profile and a Survey!

Monday, April 20th, 2009

Y’all are totally getting spoiled this week.

First things first… you may have noticed the lovely new pinup of Jigsaw I’ve been showing off on Twitter and elsewhere. We’ve finally gotten her right where she belongs… on a wallpaper!

And those of you who may remember all those lovely pictures we took with folks involved a certain “Shoulder-Mounted Vampire” will want this next one… yeah, there’s TWO great new wallpapers of Jigsaw coming out this week. I told you I was spoiling you. ;)

jigsaw_sitty_previewBoth sexy and slightly fun versions are available for the low, low asking price of a $1 donation (or more — I’ll happy accept more money for these!) They’re also available at Webcomic Wallpapers, in case you’ve got some funds leftover there you’d like to spend on ‘em.

In addition, there’s a new cast profile available for Qin Xu, our newly discovered doctor. It looks like there’s more to him than we’ve been led to believe…

And, last but not least, there’s a quick little 4-question survey I’d like all of you to fill out. Seriously, go ahead and fill it out. It’s important, and I’m asking about a few projects that y’all might benefit from in the future too.

Can’t Make it to Conventions? Use Last Res0rt on Demand!

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

The internet has done it again!

Last Res0rt On Demand (available through Zazzle) is your newest source for Last Res0rt merchandise. Most of it at the moment is the same stuff you may have seen  at conventions, except the Zazzle store also has other forms of merchandise I can’t make otherwise, like keychains, postage stamps, and other good stuff. (You can now answer the riddle of “How do you mail a mad scientist?”)

Best of all, it’s all available online, so if that pesky “travelling-to-a-hotel-and-interacting-with-real-people” problem has been holding you back (or more likely, I just haven’t been able to travel out to the ones you go to), you’re now mere clicks away from temptation.

So far all sixteen Last Res0rt players are available on there, as well as the Zodiac sets some of you may have already seen at conventions.  Of course, I’ll be able to add new stuff later on , like t-shirts, posters, and prints; I’ll make sure to let you know when I post up new stuff, but odds are you’ll know it’s there because you’ll be the one suggesting I make it.

Head on over to Last Res0rt On Demand and go see what your favorite character looks like. If you’re confused where to go otherwise… well, Slick’s over on the right-hand side to show you the way.

LIVE! Interview with TGT Webcomics Podcast!

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

(Missed the live interview?  Click here for the archives!)

The TGT Webcomics folks are at it again!

You may remember that they did a spotlight on Last Res0rt about three months ago, and I’m back there again, except I have a say this time around. Come and listen — This time I’m actually talking about the comic, unlike the appearances I’ve made over at the Webcomic Beacon!

Furthermore, the TGT folks have required me to give out one contractually-obligated spoiler, so you don’t want to miss that. ;)

So come and listen, or get on Talkshoe and actually chime in, because it’s going to be a blast!

Tuesday, July 7th, 2009

Yes, it’s another TGT Webcomics post, and it’s just as important as ever!

TGT Webcomics is holding a Webcomics Tournament, and Last Res0rt‘s on the list!

Round 1 has Last Res0rt up against Rival Angels, and really… you know what to do, so go vote!

New Survey: Who’s YOUR Favorite?

Thursday, July 9th, 2009

Everyone loves playing favorites.

This time, you get the chance to do both of us a favor: here’s a brand-new survey where you can tell me who your favorites are, and just why you like ‘em.  The more folks chime in, the more likely I am to make cool new stuff featuring those characters, and while I know at least a few of you have favorites… I’ve love to hear the rest!

At the end of the survey is a chance to get a free conbadge, so if you’re looking for a free commission, this is the best way to get it!

Go ahead and take the survey!

Conbadge Commissions Now Open!

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

blacksilver_chibi-siteFor those wondering, CLD won the freebie badge from the survey. If you were hoping to win the badge, you can still get one too!

… You’ll just have to pay $25 for it instead. ;)

These badges feature a chibi rendition of yourself / your fursona / your WoW Level 70 Death Knight / whatever with your name. Each badge is are roughly 4” by 6”, custom made, cut to contour, laminated, and comes with a badge clip.

AND… these badges also now have “If lost, return to” information on the back! In case you ever get separated from your badge at a convention, now your badge has a better chance of making it home!

All artwork is fully digital, so in the rare case that you do need a replacement, it couldn’t be easier.

But Wait, There’s More! The first five (5) folks who order badges get a $5 discount off their badges – so they only pay $20 instead for the same awesome badge, and hey, shipping’s still included in the price.

… but that’s only for the first five folks, so if you’re wanting a badge while they’re still cheap… act fast and order now!

New Feature Added — Tag, You’re It!

Friday, August 7th, 2009

Following along just became a little easier. ^_^

If you’ve been digging through the archives recently, you may have noticed some new tags appearing… well, those’re there for you. Each page now has been tagged with relevant characters / items / details,  so you can see just which character is which, when the last time was you saw a certain item, or whenever they were last talking about such-and-such.

Hopefully this’ll help those of you who want to refresh your memories do so without having to do an Archive Trawl quite so often.

Try it out now (the sooner I hear back about any issues, the better), and enjoy!

Going to Mephit Fur Meet? Snag an Exclusive Wallpaper for Free!

Jigsaw Looks Drop Dead Gorgeous, Doesn't She?

Everyone’s got plans for this weekend, don’t they?

I’ll be at Dragon*Con this weekend (albeit not with a table!), but I’ve made sure to get in on the action over at Mephit Fur Meet as well with a couple of conbook contributions. One of them is sure to be appreciated… there’s a coupon at the bottom of it for a free, unreleased wallpaper!

It’s only available free for a limited time, and I might release it closer to Halloween for those looking to donate… but for now, the only way to get a hold of it is to find the coupon code in the conbook, and then head over to Webcomic Wallpapers to redeem it!

The code’s reusable, so feel free to point it out to other congoers at MFM, or to share the code with folks who couldn’t make it.  (Please don’t post it here / on the forums though — that makes it too easy!)

Just remember, the code only works through the month of September… so act fast!

FREE – Anime Weekend Atlanta Souvenir!

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

100_percent_catgirls_siteIt’s almost time for Anime Weekend Atlanta!

They’ve reformulated the Artist’s Alley, and we’ll be right in the middle of the first aisle you see. But just to make sure those of you coming in for the event actually find the table this year, I’ve brought in a little something special for y’all — freebies!

Jigsaw, Addy, and Gangrel are all included on this special limited-edition photo souvenir, and it’s all yours, for free… provided you can make it there in time!

Just to make sure you’re an actual reader, you’ll need to say the secret phrase — “Does Addy like Pocky?” — to clue me in and claim your prize. Remember, I only have so many of these on hand, so it’s first come, first served!

NEW! Omnibus Cast Page Added!

Friday, October 9th, 2009

FACT: There’s roughly about 40 characters in Last Res0rt, including some of the more obscure extras.

Since doing cast pictures for all of ‘em isn’t happening anytime soon, I’ve taken the cast page and updated it with a slew of faces and descriptions, which should be plenty to keep you busy and able to identify everyone. Also, since some of the characters are better explained than others, you might find out some new stuff about the more obscure characters in there…

Go check out the cast page now!
