Daisy did something horrible to Scout Fenriel in the past (probably). Jason’s from that planet, and has a serious personal grudge about it. Scouts are supposed to represent the best their planet has to offer. Imagine the respect held for war heroes, celebrities, and olympic athletes all rolled into one package, and you can see how harming a Scout could lead to some serious grudges. That’s why Jason’s so stuck on the “Must shoot Daisy” thing – in his eyes, he’s avenging his planet’s most respected heroine. As for shooting Jigsaw, I suspect that’s because he’s a murderous ass and considers her guilty by association.
Am I the only one who thinks he is simply having a psychotic breakdown from his traumatic past with his mother? Which was caused by Daisy’s tone/stance/wording making him flashback to those horrible events.
He did willingly join Last Res0rt, so his sanity is already questionable.
I’d say the flashback spurred him to action, but the rest is all fanatical, calculating grudge. He definitely knows what he’s doing, even if he is crazy.
Spades probably doesn’t care about Scout Kuvaela like he cares about Scout Fenirel. Now, if they run into any overzealous Kenrils, Slick might have something to worry about.
Andromeda seems pretty screwed, so who’ll come to their rescue? Siege? Gemini? …the ponybot?
Gah. I’m reminded that they *do* have a medical tool at hand–that glitter they drained. OTOH…this would mean that Jigsaw would become a sparkly vampire, which may be a worse thing. 🙂

It sounds like the Kinetic Halo armor worked, but not well enough. What was that FWASH-sound, though? Jig’s gun getting shot and…exploding?
