Veled maybe lost her main target…that’s if the fall was indeed fatal for Jigsaw’s sire. Vampire can be pretty hard to kill. Maybe he survived.

In terms of time-line is this happening a week before the start of Last Resort, or is the gap bigger?

More like three months, I think: that’s how long Jigsaw’s little cyber-toy was powered down. Plus Daisy needed all that time to lose the leg, confess and make her deal with the devil.

@Ken: It’s not that self-defense doesn’t count on Fenirel… it just counts for some species more than others. Jigsaw’s got a good reason to be skeptical on top of that, though.

So Jigsaw isn’t quite so clueless as she appears…And apparently owes Daisy or someone something that she needs to be forgiven.

Hm… Kind of a quick conclusion to the flashback… I find it feels a little rushed, but that may be just me.

I give good odds on Veled either:
a) laughing; or
b) telling her to stop making such a fuss all over her expensive floor.
She may even do both. What Jigsaw is going to do next is less clear. Odds on her freaking over Veled invading her brain, anyone?

I’m pretty certain that picture depicts torture, although there may be alternate explanations for the key evidence leading towards that conclusion.
