Dragon*Con’s coming up fast!
Everything’s in place for showing up at Dragon*Con (August 31 – September 3, 2012), and I’ll be in the Comics and Pop Artist’s Alley (located in the Hyatt Regency Atlanta — same place the alley’s always been in, if you’ve been there before!) and I’ll be at Table 19!

I’m getting ready to go to Dragon*Con!
Some of you may’ve already known about this event (here it is on Google+ as well!), but this is my first year with an actual table at the convention — and all the new goodies to sell that it implies! I’ll be with J.P. of BugPudding, and part of our prep is that I managed to convince him we needed some new convention banners…
Take a peek at what I’ve got in store! It’ll be printed up through Banners On The Cheap, so cross your fingers that it’ll turn out okay… I’ll post pictures of it once it arrives, of course!

In addition to this, I’m also holding a panel Friday Night — The Future of Furries! There’s just one big question to ask — “Where are we going, and why are we in this handbasket?” I’ll be holding the panel along with costumer and master fabricator Albert Cousins. Keep your eyes peeled on the twitter feed — I’ll be posting questions throughout this week with the hashtag #FutureOfFurries for folks to answer (even if they can’t make it to the con)!
The #FutureOfFurries panel will take place at 6:30 pm, Friday, March 16, 2012!

It’s Award Season, folks!
While I’d love to get all the awards, this kind of thing works better if I focus on the ones I’m actually likely to win and/or appear as a finalist! To wit, I turn your attention to the Shorty Awards.
Those of you who might remember last year’s chase to the finish know quite a few other webcomics folks were taking the #art category by storm. I’m going to try it again, and this time, everyone’s going to see it coming!
You can vote for other folks and other categories as well… just get out and vote!
