It lives! …and wasn’t she wearing an illusion dress a few pages back? *checks* Yes she was, but ONLY on that page. I guess her concentration slipped. Not that I blame her. Fixing FUBARs like this usually cost an arm AND a leg.
At the time she created the illusion ‘dress’, she commented “some of us prefer to keep our illusions for combat rather than vanity.” She probably let the illusion fade as quickly as it appeared.
She’s got the sense of humor of an ER nurse, or a paramedic….and Fanatical religious soldiers believing they’ll just be reincarnated if they die have to be unsettling already…fanatical religious ZOMBIES with the same beliefs…Frak, they’re going to need a LOT more fire!
I have been very confused by the last…dozen or so pages by exactly what’s happening. And the length between updates is not helping. 🙁 What exactly does she mean by “recycling?” Is it a bad thing? I get the impression it’s a bad thing.
It’s what happens when one reincarnates, but not into anything animate. Instead of some other flavor of Celeste, or even another species, she ends up a couch. Or a piece of cleaning equipment. Just not anything that can enjoy the experience of being reincarnated.
