You know, for some reason, I have always thought of Geisha having a voice similar to that of Jason Isaacs (for those who don’t know, he portrays Lucius Malfoy). Maybe it’s just his manner of speech, but he just sounds like Isaacs in my head.

Well, Geisha actually being of some use?! A miracle unto itself. For whatever it’s worth I hope Cypress is still alive.

… why does Jigsaw look like a beautiful caring mother in the last panel?
February 20th, 2011 at 11:10 am
@MadMann135: That is because she has a very caring expression, and she is looming hugely without being menacing, the way we see parents when we are very young (well, some of us. hopefully).
I noticed it, too – but I also noticed that she appeared pants-less in that panel…And there was much rejoicing. *cough*

… in a completely sick and twisted way, I can understand how Geisha would have medical knowledge. Now excuse my while I try to avoid thinking about it.

I have generally reserved only a need to kill when thinking about Geisha, but here he’s got that creepy yet cool ‘I may be the devil, but I’ll give you this one for free, for now’ feel that is just plain cool.
Also, that last panel, I can’t help but see Jigsaw as a protective guardian, mother or whatever you want to use, I don’t know if that’s what you were going for but if that’s it you did it perfectly.

I’m enjoying the perspective on that last shot, and others have already said it gives off the caring vibe.
As for the Geisha voice thing going on, I’m picturing David Kaye doing Beast Wars-era Megatron. Yesssssss.

Jig has a stretcher stashed away in there?! I know she has a lot of room in her vectorspace pocket, but yikes! Seems like things are about to reach Mary Poppins levels of absurdity. XD
Geisha’s voice seems even more sibilant than Megatron’s to my ear. (He calls White “Captains“!) Might I propose…Dinobot?
I really hope Geisha’s assistance is just his council. There could be some dangerous confusion if two Kooky Kendrils go to collect Cypress.

@ Janus and Sulucamas : I now am imagining Dino-bots speech style spoken by Megs. I have creepy awesome stuck in my head – and it keeps trying to cross-pollinate with James Earl Jone’s…something.
Thankfully it can’t surpass the local epic level or I’m sure it would have succeeded by now and opened a portal for the cenobites or some darn thing.

@Sabreur: Geisha can be helpful just by carrying on of the wounded but I also thing that with the kind of crime he is accused, he must have some skills with the human body and how keep it alive for a longer period.

Huh. Didn’t know Jigsaw had a marsupial pouch. Was this established somewhere earlier in the series? Is this feature for all of her species, or is it a custom mod-addition?

@Lysander ……….
you seriously just noticed this now? It’s been there for a LOOONG time and is a trait of all Talmi.
February 25th, 2011 at 12:54 am
@Lysander Just realized that with it being type only, I might have accidentally come off as insulting, which I didn’t mean. I was surprised that you hadn’t noticed that trait by now; sorry for anyone who I accidentally offended.

@The_Rippy_One: With James Earl Jones’…voice, perhaps?
Anyone willing to hazard a guess at how much Jig’s hand will have healed by the next page?

o.o I thought she was feeling herself for a second.
