Scoot. Definitely.
When someone messes with your weapon, and then immediately provides lots of targets for you, it’s an invitation you want to be very careful about accepting.

@Hartree: I’m with you.
If your gun functions anything like correctly right here, it will be extremely messy. If it functions any other way, you are not going to enjoy the experience.
Run. Run now. Run fast. Don’t stop.

I’m reminded of a particularly fitting Monty Python skit quote: “Run awaaaaaay! Run AWAAAAAAAYYYY!”

On the other hand, they do still have the Djinn…they should still scoot, but it shows that their opponent didn’t think of everything, or that their powers are limited – that’s useful stuff.

Running would be a definitely good idea right now.

Her gun hasn’t been changed, but her perception of it has.
It’s possible that the Tone using celestial has seeded commands that confuse people and make them see things that aren’t there. So it’s possible that her gun is working perfectly and there’s no mob bearing down on them.
Of course, I wouldn’t want to try any hands on tests of my theory to prove or disprove either one.

did things actually change or did their perception of things change? i’m just wondering.

I don’t know how much to trust the title, ’cause that gun looks a lot more dangerous than it did before! It also looks like it was styled on Sevru, so…maybe this is Sedja’s doing? Doesn’t seem like it’d be too hard a thing for a friendly Efreet to do.
I’m guessing from the shadows that that mob (if it is indeed real) isn’t the LR contestants. Could these be the ones that were hiding on the ship?

Run away while shooting behind you. It’s the best of both options!
