Interesting. Heh, looks like Cypress is compensating a bit in the chest area, isn’t she?

Also, the plot thickens…what did he mean by “Zombies are hard to predict…just ask Slick?” Was it a reference to the fight against the Galaxy Scouts…or something else?

Well, it’s an ill wind that blows no one any good.
Looks like Mordecai gets a great official legacy rather than being denounced as screwing up. Though it cost him a small fee (his life). Yet, even Golden Braun is already skeptical. Pat Tilman, anyone?
Also interesting how it’s morphed into the “zombie” being the gunman.
Information management at work.

And the mind of the producers gibber “Cut to the Show! Cut to the Show, Now!”
They obviously have taken the expanded monk feat “Media Dodge.”

Well, talk about things beginning to pick up. I wonder who the special guest is.

Well, being labeled as a “hero” albeit incompetent, is a little better than “screw-up” or “another one bites the dust”
Spirit of the Murphy’s law… that amuses me a bit.

Gunman?! Guess that would explain the two bullet holes in Mordecai’s neck…
If this is going to be such a huge challenge, I bet it’s a pretty huge ship. Wonder if it’ll be full of bystanders or baddies.

that cover up didn’t take long, but Braun clearly doesn’t buy it. And of course the producers quickly get rid of the problem.
something tells me that our contestants arn’t going to like this ’special guest’ situation all that much

its easy to make a body look like a gunshot victim by blasting a few post-mortem holes into it, and then threatening any forensic scientists who are capable of identifying which ones are post mortem

I don’t think the broadcast interruption (ha!) was part of the cover up. White Diamond Crisis doesn’t sound like a ship you want to mess with, let alone capture, so maybe the producers just wanted to strike while the iron’s hot.

I agree with Braun in Panel 3: Heroism is no substitute for competence.
