Now that I think about it, Meridian’s features are noticeably more marsupial than feline, while it’s the opposite with Cypher. This is especially noticeable in panel 3.
I’ve also noticed that Sudoku resembles her mother to a striking degree, except for her stripes and awesome eyes. And Jigsaw takes on her father’s catlike features, while poor Slider is the mix of the bunch. Catlike face, more marsupial-ish ears, Cypher’s dark fur, and Meridian’s spots. A bit of a mismatch, if you ask me.
