@e_voyager Ah, right–I’d forgotten that the Scouts here were a cross between Girl and Sailor varieties (which *still* makes me wonder what about the guys? They folded in with the rest, since I haven’t really seen any signs of sexism in this setting, or is there a secretive ninja organization of Masks, who only ever show up when the solid waste *really* hits the rotary air-circulation device?)

@Vulpis: The station's in orbit around Celigo, and the show's sponsored by the Celigan Ministry of Love, but maybe that doesn't prevent them from making it its own micronation... *GASP* This needs to happen now! :D @The_Rippy_One: I dunno, Gabriel didn't keep Rei bound in barbed wire. Seems like a step up. ;)

@shout The_Rippy_One Heh–that comment makes me wonder…what *is* the soverignty of Last Resort Station, anyway? And if it’s independant of a world, just what populations/conditions are required for there to be a Scout? I have this mental image image of Veled looking entirely wicked as she tells Jig that Jig is now Sailor Deathmatch, Scout of the Last Resort… 😉

I suspect Jigsaw’s angle in this is that they need a diplomat who can make sure that the kids don’t get reprocessed by the Star Org, which isn’t necessarily something that Veled can ensure.
