Originally I figured it was a dart of some sort (like a tranquilizer) but I just realized that looks like a high power round for a rifle. This is just a nit pick, but, if that’s a bullet, the enlarged casing would not leave the gun, it would be ejected from the breach.

Even if it’s someone else, they must be pretty powerful to be able to deflect a speeding bullet. We’ve seen teacup levitation, but I think this takes the cake!
