Probably just to touch base. The other vampire on the show has been save scumming the same day for SEVERAL MONTHS (Over a year? I’ve lost track.) in order to keep the station from being blown up. That is the kind of thing you want to keep your Grand Godmother/Vampire Magic Teacher informed of.
