It’s the autie thing…you do have to be trained, or train yourself to make eye contact. even then, it’s still at least a little unnerving.

Aside from that, holy hell Daisy! Not sure if she’s just playing with fire for gits and shiggles or not. But something tells me she just outright BROKE him.

Nice to know they have better educational accommodations for autistics in the future, even if that future is a fictitious hypothetical.

@Madd: Doubt it was part of the scout training, since she would’ve needed to be functional before she could qualify to join.

i’m gonna take a guess that it was part of her training as a scout that covered the “gorgon stare” thing? if they are a peacekeepers force of sorts it would make sense that they were trained to deal with all known lifeforms natural abilities.
