To be fair, Nikolai, I figure “she wasn’t trying” is more referring to “she wasn’t attempting to turn the dude into a pile of ashes”. Which she wasn’t! She expected him to be a crispy critter, not fireplace leavings; one of these can be shoved into a vat and turned back into a people, after all. The other one requires explaining why Min-Max needs a new minister.

Oh yes, ‘she wasn’t trying’. Like Veled does ANYTHING by accident. Not that any of us are complaining, pretty sure most of us have long decided she’s equal parts awesome and terrifying.

I’m looking forward to just how the crew are gonna be expected to deal with things, as well as just how ‘happy’ they are to be dragged in with everything going on.

Is there a wiki or something I can check? I mean, there’s a full comic summary to look back on, but when I forget random details of the setting metaphysics, that’s at best only marginally better than just hunting the archives.
