Maybe they use the same vector tech they use for other things to make ear spaces that aren’t in the same physical space. A Tardis in a helmet. 🙂

@jay they’ll probably still have WISPs flitting about for the overall, and yea those helmetcams might have the same mod so it could be just giving them an easier target.

I can’t work out if that’s good – “yay, no need for WISPs” / “the show can go on even if we shoot down the flying menaces” – or bad – “what do you mean there’s a bomb in my helmet?”
