@sulcamas I don’t think so. mind control is an iffy subject in any Scifi and in this one its seems limited to Toning which seems to is a type on hypnotic vocal command. in Artemis fowl they used the Mesmer which was a combination of voice and eye contact and while it could be done over a video connection it couldn’t be done through mirrored lenses.

@e_voyager: I think you’re right about the Toning instruction. That might explain the way Jigsaw tried to get Jason’s attention, with a startling “push.” Jason being lost in a haze of his own thoughts would probably make it harder for a Tone to sink in.

We probably would have seen the Higher Calling in her speech bubble if she’d done it right, but if she’s still learning maybe she hasn’t even gotten that far. 🙂

Or maybe she’s just learning straight-up mind control? 😛
