Casting Call
The earliest of pages catalogs Jigsaw’s first day on Last Resort Station, getting herself in trouble with the higher-ups and finding herself in deeper than she bargained for; apparently while she managed to make it on the station for the interview, she’s supremely unqualified for the job of “killing things (and sometimes people)”. She seeks Cypress’s help, who freaks out at her and presumably sends Jigsaw to her death against a flock of giant robotic birds. Good thing that Jigsaw’s more qualified than she thinks.
Don’t Say Goodbye, Say Hello
Jigsaw’s day continues as she runs into some of the criminals still in transport, along with a couple of her fellow volunteers. She talks one of the Star Org guards into turning Slick over into her custody (after convincing him that she’s an Executioner after all, even if the others don’t know it yet), the two have a chance to talk — just not for very long until another volunteer finds them. The ensuing chase leads us to yet more players, including Daisy and Jason, who looks like trouble… but Jigsaw manages to make him back off. Fortunately, none of this escapes the watchful eyes of the staff, who apparently see Jigsaw’s potential value, not to mention her potential for trouble.
Last Resort, Episode 1 – The Series Premiere
It’s time to start broadcasting around the Galaxy! Sorry to say, not everyone’s been told exactly what’s going to happen, as our volunteers meet the full cast of criminals for the first time, only to be split up into various groups in order to take on the challenges that determine which players become Executioners.
Adharia, White Noise, Jason and Jigsaw all make the cut . . . which is shocking news to more than just the players, and it looks like Jigsaw is in even bigger trouble than she first thought. She has more than just the players to fear . . .
The Crisis is Right
Jigsaw and Adharia are enjoying their new status, but they find out they’ve got some responsibilities as Cypress leads them into the dungeon, insisting that they pick one of the defeated players for their lieutenant in order to assist them on the show.
Tensions run high, and eventually all but a few get what they wanted . . . unfortunately, Cypress isn’t one of them! With teams decided and dressed, the real fun is about to get underway, and not a moment too soon. Some of the teams look like they could be getting along a little better, though . . .
Last Resort, Episode 2 – First Blood
The second episode’s all set up to pit the new Executioners against each other to determine who’s in charge of who, even if some of the spectators have other plans.
Of course, when one of those “spectators” is Veled, the military head of planet Celigo, it’s safe to say not everything will be going to plan.
This episode pits the players against a “Celebrity Gauntlet” nobody wants to fight… the Galaxy Girl Scouts, who are out for blood and eager to finish this fight by whatever means necessary! Can our intrepid players survive their onslaught with only one bullet in each of their pistols? Is Jigsaw going to lose it in front of a live holovision audience? What in the GALAXY is up with Daisy anyway?!
