I’m guessing cypher just doesn’t realize his daughter is a vampire yet.
some one with a QR reader, get us the code, stat!
If it were you…oh, wait, didn’t you almost get defenestrated?
Meanwhile, mmm, Zillian STDs. Hives: It’s treatable!
@E: I don’t think he knows, either.
http://lastresort.xepher.net/ has not updated yet for some reason.
Also, yeah, dad here is still in the dark about just how deep a hole his daughter has found herself in. I expect his enlightenment on the subject to be quite sudden and possibly physically painful, with our lovely hero being somewhere else at the time.
The QR-Code seems to say:
“This is Manil4 Fo1der, reminding you that safe networking is everyone’s responsibilty!”
why does his trench coat not have a slit up the back for his tail- but mine does?
Brunhidden he probably just didn’t buy one like that. Maybe he bought a human styled one
@Bruhidden he probably just didn’t buy one that was cut like that. Maybe he prefers the human style trenchcoats to the regular onse.
says THE VIRIDIAN GROOM.
Not exactly really one to criticise or complain there, buddy boy.
The QR code is text that reads,
“This is Manil4 Fo1der, reminding you that safe networking is everyone’s responsibility!”
@ E-voy so you are saying i am wearing a talmi style coat?
RE:that coat: I wanted something billowy. Coats with slits for tails don’t billow as much. :-p
hey there’s many different styles. Even if its something fictional you know it made it soon enough be real.
@Brunhidden: The difference is probably that what you have is a duster, a long coat originally meant to be worn to protect your clothes from trail dust while horseback riding, which has a slit in the back to make it easier to wear while on a horse. Cypher is wearing either a trench coat or another kind of great coat, which doesn’t have the slit in the back, and was designed for British officers to wear in World War 2. The 2 styles get confused often since they look similar.
Says the guy who just dropped his kids off alone and ran off.
@’Saw: Good answer!
I personally like that this rant doesn’t seem all that different from when Jigsaw reaches that point.
Though it looks like Cypher is a bit more careful because he walked of to have his own explosion. Though I wonder how safe it is to have a rant on this station, especially considering his daughter and…..One of his wife’s? are a contestant?

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO LAST RES0RT! Hard to believe it’s been eight years, eh guys? Let’s all give Rachel a round of applause (or a round of drinks, if you so choose) for managing to keep such an awesome comic going strong for such a long time!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO LAST RES0RT! Hard to believe it’s been seven years, eh guys? (Well, seven years on this site. It first appeared on dA eight years, four months, and some days ago)
Let’s all give Rachel a big round of applause (or a round of drinks if you prefer) for managing to keep such a great comic going for so long!
(my first attempt at this comment got eaten….)
ignore that first comment (and this one) since it finally came through after I already re-commented after thinking it got ker-eated. I had the number of years wrong anyway. But since this is now my third consecutive comment I’m just gonna shut up for a while. x_x
So let me see if I have his issue down. His daughter that is stuck in a show that can kill her and may do so that very night, is asked what she will do AFTER the show. And when she gives this possibility an answer someone tells her that the world she is going to go to may be gone by the time she is done here and they will use her death as the excuse. So his daughter is a bit miffed at this. And he is irked that she is miffed?
Nothing says cyberpunk like a PSA for a computer virus! …or computer-based euphemisms. 😛
@Darkewulf: Hear hear! 🙂
@Kaian: Must have awfully high standards, eh?
