I’m over with J.P. of BugPudding on the latest Southern Fried Inkslingers Podcast (some NSFW episodes, but ours isn’t)! We’re talking shop about conventions and working together (hint — we don’t, at least not on the creative side…), and these guys were a hoot to work with, so that means it ought to be a hoot to listen to, right?

This weekend (March 8-10, 2013) is Momocon, down at the Hilton Atlanta! I’ll be in Artist’s Alley with J.P. of BugPudding, and I’ll have copies of The White Diamond Crisis, Last Res0rt’s newest annual (covering “Part Two” of this current volume).

And then there’s just enough time to pack up and regroup before Furry Weekend Atlanta (March 15-17, 2013) — second verse, same as the first, but we’ll be in the Dealer’s Den vs. the Artist’s Alley! (Although we’ve been moved a little bit … here’s the new layout!)

Once the conventions are taken care of, we’ll add the books to the online store.

If you’re not  following on Twitter or Facebook yet… GET ON IT! Between the tweeting, the posting, and all the other awesome stuff you could be seeing, it’s worth it!

For those of you coming to Furry Weekend Atlanta (March 14-17, 2013), we’ve got a map for you…

It’s in the Westin this year (which isn’t far from the hotel it’s been in for previous years!), and yes, the floors are numbered funny just because there’s so many of them. (You’ll get over it.)

You’ll notice I also have MomoCon mentioned here… as soon as more details are revealed about the map, I’ll post those as well!

We made it! Lots of good stuff happened in 2012:

• Came up with lots of new products, like these bottle openers (available in Jigsaw, Daisy, and Jason)!
• Printed a new book — The Last Galaxy Girl Scout!
• Went to freakin’ Dragon*Con!

Of course, this means one thing… figuring out how to top all that this year won’t be easy!

You can do your part, of course — there’s a quick 42-second survey that you can fill out and help me keep on track! If you want to give me an extra piece of your mind, you could always leave a comment… After all, I can’t fix stuff if I don’t know what to work on!

Here’s to 2013!

Fortunately, I’m fully capable of answering that last one!

This year it’s Team Corvus (because quite honestly, it was either them or Gemini, and I once again failed to get Addy to understand that “snow” is, in fact, a safe thing that will not burn her skin), and they look great! These simple, round ceramic ornaments won’t weigh down the tree and they’re bound to delight!

Also, you may notice that this ornament says “2012″ on it: If you’re new to the comic, don’t fret, because ’tis the season to go ahead and catch up on the rest of the collection too! These puppies are out of retirement until the end of December!

• White Noise and Qin Xu are on the 2011 Ornament!
• Jigsaw and Daisy are on the 2010 Ornament!

Remember, these ornaments are done a little differently from everything else I sell in the store, because they’re an On-Demand item done by Zazzle — but that means they’re subject to all the various discounts Zazzle runs throughout the month, too! Keep the tradition going, and get your ornament(s) today!

And quite frankly, I have plenty of things to be thankful for, including all of you:

• Some of you see me and J.P. at the conventions and stop by, hang out, and sometimes offer us things we feel awkward turning down (and end up accepting as a result half the time)!
• Some of you buy books and things from the online storefront.
• Some of you keep tabs through the Elite List (which if you’re not already signed up there, is a great way to get weekly emails of the comic, among other things!)
• Some of you comment on the latest pages, chat up on the Facebook fan page, leave questions at Formspring for me to answer, and otherwise contribute to this awesome community we’ve got going here.
• Some of you just read the comic and not much else (for all sorts of reasons, I’m sure), but you’re still having an impact, even if it’s just something as faint as the flicker of recognition and a blip on the screen here and there.

And for that, thank you. All of you.

Keep going, and you’ll all find plenty more where this came from.

Veled’s been included in a new card — III The Empress — over at The Webcomics Tarot Project! Those of you who saw a sneak peek over on DeviantArt and FurAffinity  already got a chance to see, but the rest of you will just have to click and find out for yourselves!

Why no preview image? It’s just that shocking of a photo from Veled’s past (and a slightly large image because of the card’s dimensions) … so go see for yourself!

We have a LOT of catching up to do!

The online store’s been given a serious upgrade through StorEnvy, which has tons of features I haven’t been able to include before, like a proper shopping cart, combined shipping, and something you probably didn’t realize you were missing…all the stuff I’ve sold at previous conventions!

• Remember those shirts I did for PhreakNIC 12 a few years ago? I’ve been selling the shirts at conventions, but now those of you who can’t make it to the cons can get a shirt for yourself! (Fair warning, though — I’ve only got Size L shirts left!)
• I’ve been experimenting with some new bottle openers at the conventions… I’ve already set up Jigsaw, Daisy and Jason into sparkly metal form, with more to follow depending on how well these do!
• And, what I know so many of you have been waiting for… but Volume Two isn’t available yet. Part One, however, most certainly is!
