wait is that the whistle that Jason was given earlier when he said all talmi are Jewish?

  2. nikolai60

    O.O what in blazes-!

  3. hariman

So, apparently the whistle triggers the djinned side of Jason and the hurts the dead inside part of Alice Quinn.

But, why is little miss corset helping him and which loose end does she mean?

  4. Josh.C

Hmmmmm…Ace’s hand seems to be changing.

Could there be more to him then just being a half Djinned human?

  5. Stupid N00bie

You know, I get the feeling that hand is not standard issue for people. Just a hunch.

  6. Shad

Jason is…changing? o.o WE will either have to wait a week, OR we will see a scene change and have to wait even longer?

  7. Darkewulf

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Jigsaw Forte, the Queen of Frustrating Audiences.

I swear, the only bigger tease is Zig Zag… XD

  8. Starcat5

A person a few weeks back suggested that Jason and Sunny were the same “Person”. It is looking like that person might have been right.

  9. Brunhidden

oh im sorry jason, a consultant we paid has told us you are not interesting enough. have fun with the new you!

  10. e_voyager

i wonder was Jason’s father human? or perhaps djinn children are were the legends of werewolf’s come from.

  11. Warsmith Bob

Just throwing this out there, but what if the tone or frequency controlled the whimsy, or the person who emitted it?

  12. Sulucamas

😯 Is that whistle using ultrasonics, like Toning does? Is this all part of some experiment, or just recourse for a “half-assed plan” to kill Daisy?

  13. Sulucamas

@Warsmith Bob: Like a dog whistle for the Whimser? That’d be awesome! Ya wonder then if everyone else on the ship just felt the same effects. D:

  14. Brunhidden

in case this solves or starts controversy- that whistle is refereed to specifically as “Jason’s whistle”

also peytolon is likely capable of restraining Alice, but does not seem to see her as much of a threat even absconding with the purloined whistle

  15. The_Rippy_One

Jason has gone sort of draconic. Yay? Reminds me of Veled, actually, but silver/purple instead of gold…

But it hurts…or…do her eyes look smaller? Does the whistle force a being to become its natural shape again? Maybe like what Veled did to ‘Saw during their “talk?”

If so, Jason has been a Celestil in denial/hiding this entire time? Would shed some light on why a Djinn mother would want her son castrated…at a vet…Okay, I’m going to hop on the bandwagon that Jason can shape shift into his dog…

I find it interesting that the robots want Daisy dead, too. (They are acting because Jason hasn’t, and, let’s face it, the only things that you could reasonably expect Jason to do are: be a jerk, shag his partner, and knife Daisy. He has done the other 2, so…)

  16. Vulpis

Of course, all of this might not be to necessarily kill Daisy, but to provoke *Jig*.

  17. e_voyager

I’m pretty sure he knifed daisy at least once so far even if he used a gun to the gut to do it.

  18. The_Rippy_One

Well, yes, but a) that was before they were officially taken, and b) it didn’t quite stick…

  19. nikolai60

@The_Rippy_One gah, Jason’s crazy plus Veled’s power, bad thoughts, bad thoughts…..

  20. Vulpis

@nikolai60 Oif. Now I’m ending up imagining Veled and Jason doing something *else* Jason does, possibly with Alice involved as well. Talk about bad thoughts… 😉

  21. nikolai60

  22. The_Rippy_One

Thanks Vulpis. You broke Nikolai. *pulls out a Neuralizer* Come back here! This will make the hurting stop, I promise!

  23. Vulpis

Hee. Mission accomplished! I guess I’m too jaded to let that sort of image get to me much. Heck, something along the lines of Qin teaching White Noise about an ancient Terth tradition called ‘goatse’ wouldn’t even make me twitch. Probably put the LR monitoring staff in the same condition as nikolai, though. 😉

Though this train of thought does make me snicker as I look back up at the last panel and see Alice being refered to as a ‘loose end’….or is the pony-bot refering to Jason? 😉

  24. e_voyager

I’ve never heard of a goatse so please don’t enlighten me. now Nikolai will have to get veled or some other Celeste to repress that memory for him. as for me … i’ve built a lovely residence on old tearth on the banks of a well known river so i’ll be okay for a while.

  25. nikolai60

    *busy being spastic*

  26. The_Rippy_One

*Raybans on* Eyes closed everyone! *Uses the flashy thing, as Nikolai turns away* Darn it, Nikolai, hold…still! *Uses the flashy thing* I don’t want to wipe out portions of your childhood! *Uses the flashy thing* This is a delicate instrument! *Uses the…notices the janitor standing in the hall, looking very glazed* Um..well, this is embarrassing…”You are a janitor at a highly prestigious studio currently shooting …-“

  27. Vulpis

*cackles evilly* Probably for the best there, e_voyager–Goatse was probably one of the top 5 brain-bleach inducing web things of all time–and most considered bleach not strong enough to deal with it, in favor of sulfuric-acid cleaning. Come to think of it, I wonder if that might have been a cause for so many Shatterings on Terth.. 😉

  28. FlashXX

@hariman : Nice theory, couldn’t have worded it better myself!:D
