in case this solves or starts controversy- that whistle is refereed to specifically as “Jason’s whistle”
also peytolon is likely capable of restraining Alice, but does not seem to see her as much of a threat even absconding with the purloined whistle

Jason has gone sort of draconic. Yay? Reminds me of Veled, actually, but silver/purple instead of gold…
But it hurts Djinn..hm…or…do her eyes look smaller? Does the whistle force a being to become its natural shape again? Maybe like what Veled did to ‘Saw during their “talk?”
If so, Jason has been a Celestil in denial/hiding this entire time? Would shed some light on why a Djinn mother would want her son castrated…at a vet…Okay, I’m going to hop on the bandwagon that Jason can shape shift into his dog…
I find it interesting that the robots want Daisy dead, too. (They are acting because Jason hasn’t, and, let’s face it, the only things that you could reasonably expect Jason to do are: be a jerk, shag his partner, and knife Daisy. He has done the other 2, so…)

Hee. Mission accomplished! I guess I’m too jaded to let that sort of image get to me much. Heck, something along the lines of Qin teaching White Noise about an ancient Terth tradition called ‘goatse’ wouldn’t even make me twitch. Probably put the LR monitoring staff in the same condition as nikolai, though.
Though this train of thought does make me snicker as I look back up at the last panel and see Alice being refered to as a ‘loose end’….or is the pony-bot refering to Jason?

I’ve never heard of a goatse so please don’t enlighten me. now Nikolai will have to get veled or some other Celeste to repress that memory for him. as for me … i’ve built a lovely residence on old tearth on the banks of a well known river so i’ll be okay for a while.

*cackles evilly* Probably for the best there, e_voyager–Goatse was probably one of the top 5 brain-bleach inducing web things of all time–and most considered bleach not strong enough to deal with it, in favor of sulfuric-acid cleaning. Come to think of it, I wonder if that might have been a cause for so many Shatterings on Terth..
