I see, or hear, tone <..>

  2. Josh.C

Yes…. A concern is so subjective.

Is there a problem? You threatened by it? Are you the problem?

Is there a problem in a place? Is the place a problem?

Though I’m beggening to wonder if dear Murphy is Whitenoise missing daughter?

Madd the Sane@: It might also be that communication through Toning is a method of hiding what one is talking about. Between the Celeste and Touched it might be their native language.

Before someone screws it up: if you’re privileged enough to have discovered the answer to Josh.C’s question, do both us and the author a favor: please don’t tell, thank you.

I must agree about the toning, I think they’re trying to hide their conversation.

Before you ask: I don’t know, but a friend who knows said we’re better off waiting.

…Qin the Djinn? Really? xD Never noticed that one before. :P

Nice to see that Spirit’s more intense than she let’s on. (Dutch Angle?) From the way Melody puts it, she’s probably a steadfast party-liner. :|

Is it me, or does Dex look like she’s getting toned on the last panel? Does the tone just flip an obedience switch even without a command being given? Interesting that she’s affected while Melody isn’t.

    @nikolai60: Well put. :)

  6. Josh.C

Thanks @nikolai60: Shouldn’t let my mind wonder too much.

Although, this gives us food for thought about some of the other’s veiw of Murphy’s track record. It doesn’t look like Melody or her scout friend trust her very much.

  7. The_Rippy_One

I like the expression on the little head snake in the last panel. Little mouse, big ears, indeed. I’m curious as to why their toning differently (periwinkle (?) vs brown(?)).

  8. Jigsaw Forte

@Rippy: I like to keep tones in the same color as their eyes.

  9. Brunhidden

I would like to point out that nobody seemed to notice during the riot that while sure there was a sniper trying to pick off the instigator which got attention – nobody has yet to ask what the roving death squads were up to at the same time

  10. Josh.C

@Brunhidden: Escorting the innocent bystander out of the area it sounded like.

I’m more surprised that their weren’t any casualties. Though that might be more cover-up by star org.

  11. nikolai60

@Brunhidden oi, at least ONE trooper tried to help

I also sense Binary is interested in teaching ‘Murphy a lesson…

  12. LeQuack147

Someone’s in damage control mode… We’ll see how well that goes.
I’m pretty sure this is a firing-worthy fiasco.
